If you are a fan of puzzle games and fond of physics as well, then it’s time for you to get your hands on the game iO. It is fun, challenging, and requires intellectual preparation from you. Are you ready?
Graphics — 4.5/5
The game graphics and interface are minimalistic. So it is easy to concentrate on tasks. The backdrop of iO is made like the Universe with little stars glowing all over. In the front, you get to see the level which consists of different shapes and figures. The ball, which you are responsible for controlling in the game, is amazingly designed and emits blue particle all through the game. The exit gate is a green circle which when touched by the ball gets all big and bulky.
Gameplay — 5/5
In iO, your aim is to make the ball pass through the green exit. The faster you do it, the higher your chances to get a gold medal. Easier said than done! There are various obstacles that you come across at every level. Lightsabers that want to throw you away, blocks that will block your way entirely, zigzag on your paths, are only some of the difficulties. However, you have the power to either grow or shrink the ball. Thus, by doing so, you can control its speed and weight.
A physics platformer game, iO is all about completing the level fast and advancing to the next level. Also, as a part of the reward, you have gold, silver, and bronze medal. However, you get these medals based on your performance.
Controls — 4.5/5
There are many controls that you need to take care off. Move the ball left and right with left arrow key/LT and right arrow key/RT respectively. To grow the ball in size, you can press the Up arrow key. In order to shrink it, press the Down arrow key. Hit the ‘A’ button to confirm your selection and ‘Y’ to restart the level. Press ‘B’ to pause, go to menu or go back.
Replay Value — 5/5
The initial levels of the game are straightforward. However, as you progress through the game, the levels get tough to complete. The same poses a challenge in front of the gamers, and it becomes hard for them to quit the game. Also, there are different modes with original level, tutorial levels, and ‘irresistiball level’ that glue you to the game for long.
Play this logic puzzle game and challenge your brain. Use the growing and shrinking features of the ball to gain momentum and progress in the game. Get to toy with the laws of physics to make your way to next levels. On the whole, solve the puzzles as fast as you can to claim the gold medal. A plethora of unique and challenging puzzles make you addictive to iO.
Roll the ball and defy all the laws of physics just to reach the exit point fast and claim the gold medal. Boost your intelligence with this fun and useful puzzle game!
