Professional Review

Fighting against terrorism is a very popular game plot, which we can be noticed in many different titles. The Rainbow Six series tells us about the everyday life of the anti-terrorist department, consisting of operatives from different countries.

Rainbow Six Siege is the tactical first-person shooter, in the center of which is a conflict between the terrorist organization and the Rainbow team. This is the whole plot of the game since the player is left alone with the game process. Playing in solo mode, you would assume the responsibility of an attacker or a defender and will render your duty with vigor and devotion.

Graphics — 4.5/5

The game was developed on the graphics engine AnvilNext version 2.0, that includes some graphics and physical technologies that actively used in modern video games, such as global lighting, volumetric smoke, dynamic weather, physically calculating foliage on trees and much more. It actively uses rendering based on physics, which makes the image of materials, objects and their surfaces more realistic. Anyway, in Rainbow Six Siege you will simply have no time to admire the surrounding beauties. The game is intentionally sustained in subdued dull tones so that the player can concentrate on planning an offensive or defense.

Gameplay — 4.5/5

The gameplay offers you three levels of difficulty. Low, when the accuracy and damage could be done to you by enemies are reduced, and auto-targeting is turned on. Standard, in which the damage and accuracy of enemies increases and auto-targeting are still on. And realistic, where everything is as hard as possible, and the game does not help you while aiming. Even if you have auto-targeting on the first two levels of complexity, you will have a hard time. In this game, the ball is not ruled by your speed or the ability to shoot, but cold calculation and strategic planning. Communicating with the rest of the team is essential. It is desirable to generally play on the network with your friends, whom you know well. One player can enter the room, and the second must cover it to see where the enemy attacks him. One destroys the wall, using his unique skill, the second drowns signals from the drones of the enemy, and the third throws a noise grenade into the room to blind the enemies. Only working in a team, you can most efficiently win victories in this game.

Controls — 5/5

As a player, you can both choose to play for the attack force or the defense force. The duties will defer, and the controls will contrast as well. While you are traversing the battlefields, you will utilize every control according to the situation in the game.

The smooth transitions and controls simplify enhance user engagement. Your weapons, the background narration subtitles, accumulated points, etc; everything will be displayed on the screen.

Replay Value — 5/5

As the game takes you close to the real-life characters, you feel an instant connection with the game. Once you have accomplished a mission in the game, the adrenaline rush will prompt you to proceed further without any delay. Assuming the role of a defender or an attacker, you will unleash tactical attacks on the opponents to emerge victoriously. Further, participating in weekly tournaments or watching the teams perform in Rainbow Six Siege Pro League motivates players to test their combat capabilities in the game.

Conclusion

Game Rainbow Six Siege with no doubt would be a perfect match for people who like smart shooters. If you want light fun Call of Duty games, you definitely will not have anything to do with this game. Here you will have to work actively with your head, from time to time making rare but accurate shots. This is one of the best team game nowadays. If you are not confused by the lack of a story campaign in Siege, or if you just missed the Rainbow Six series, this game will give you a lot of fascinating hours.

Conclusion

If you prefer ruthless destruction and lethal combat modes, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is an ideal first-person shooting game for you. In this game you will feel a real team spirit and will be able to play many tactics of attack and defense.
